Love can have as many meanings as there are people on this planet.
I want to share some words from my Divinely communicated book: Empowering Our Children: God's Call to Parents, How to Heal Yourself and Your Children. Here is the passage:
“Make an announcement to all who come into your life that you will accept them no matter who they are, how they feel and think, what they look like and what they choose for their lives. This declaration is the unconditional acceptance that lies within you and everyone on this planet. Seize it now! Believe you can love and watch your world transform.
I will speak of acceptance and love synonymously because they mean the same thing. I will also speak with the assumption that you acknowledge love and acceptance as unconditional, since by their very meaning they are.
When you accept someone you are saying “I love you.” In your life you have created special love where you accept someone more than another. In other words you let someone in more than someone else. This is seen most commonly with children and intimate relationships. You give your child or spouse special love, or in some cases you hold your love for your entire life waiting for the right opportunity to share it.
The experience of joy, success and empowerment that you have deeply wanted comes as a result of:
- Becoming more aware.
- Taking responsibility for your life.
- Clearly expressing yourself and discerning what actions are bringing you closer to unconditional acceptance.
It is in your power to love more.”
What I have found to be true in my decade of working with thousands of people in my one-on-one coaching and classes, is there is obviously no ‘wrong’ way to love and accept someone, for we love and accept people the best we can.
When it comes down to it, the thread within us all, connecting us all, is that at the depths of our selves we simply want to love/accept and be loved/accepted, and all motivation comes from this place of the soul, even if one's actions may seem to the contrary.
